<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>C1q- and C3d-IC, were determined in patients with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as compared to healthy subjects, using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. According to the data obtained, the levels of both C1q- и C3d-IC were significantly increased in PTSD-patients versus healthy subjects, thus reflecting hyperactivation of classical complement pathway detected in this pathology. Moreover, a significant positive correlation was found between C1q- and C3d-IC levels in PTSD group. It was concluded that PTSD is characterized by altered mechanisms of IC recognition and elimination that may underly chronic activation of immune system and systemic inflammatory response associated with this disorder.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>C1q- и C3d-иммунные комплексы</kwd><kwd>иммунная система</kwd><kwd>хроническая активация</kwd><kwd>посттравматическое стрессовое расстройство</kwd><kwd>системные воспалительные реакции</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>C1q- и C3d immune complexes</kwd><kwd>immune system</kwd><kwd>chronic activation</kwd><kwd>posttraumatic stress disorder</kwd><kwd>systemic inflammation</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Грант Национального комитета науки РА (#11aa-003)</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Константинова Н.А.
